At the RICE Lab at the University of Nebraska, our mission is to investigate com
puting education to improve both teaching and learning through (1) rigorous disciplined-based educational research, and (2) innovations of tools, course materials, techniques, and outreach activities. Our secondary mission is to promote and advocate for CS education including broader participation from under-represented groups and minorities, development of K-12 CS curricular standards, and engagement and professional development of CS teachers and educators.
The founding co-directors of the RICE lab are Professors Leen-Kiat Soh and Steve Cooper.
